In this fast-paced, digital age, it’s far too easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life, and forget to be present. Work drains, Netflix calls, and our lives can slip away without us ever noticing the moments.

Can’t remember what you had to eat some days? You forgot to really taste your food. Can’t name a favorite smell? Maybe you don’t notice the scents wafting around you. Do you take time to watch the sunset, feel how soft and warm your blanket is, or listen to the wind pressing against the branches outside your window? 

Your senses always try to communicate about your surroundings, but we’ve learned how to ignore them. Research shows learning how to be present in the moment, in part by paying attention to what our bodies tell us, is linked to more joy and less anxiety - and I know I need more of that in my life! 

So every week, my team and I will curate a list of things we intentionally include in our lives to ignite our senses, and help us really feel alive even in the ordinary scenes of our days. We invite you to enjoy them with us, and contribute your own products and experiences that make each moment worth living! 

Because here at Wolf and Bloom, we believe in cultivating joy in every area of our lives, rather than waiting for it to simply happen to us.
